Clause 3 – How to understand the definition of “normal operation”
normal operation: conditions under which the appliance is operated in normal use when it is connected to the supply mains.
normal operation is the state of working in the way specified in the instruction manual usually. Sometimes it is also the state of working in the way specified in the standard, although this mode of operation is not in the instruction manual and the user does not normally operate in this way. Here, the normal operation may be redefined in the different Part II standards.
Part 2 standard for refrigerator, based on standard, the state that normal operating conditions require emptying the refrigerator’s storage compartment, closing the refrigerator drawers and doors, as well as setting the user-adjustable temperature controls to short-circuit or inoperable.
Normal operation is only one operating condition, and sometimes the standard definition of normal operation may be intended to set the harshest operating conditions.
