De eerste is dat het in een compartiment moet worden geplaatst, dat meestal een plastic elektriciteitskast kan zijn, of een verzonken positie op het apparaat, die kan worden gebruikt om draden te plaatsen. De tweede voorwaarde zijn de draden. De draden hier zijn anders dan koorden. Dit type draad is de gewone draad met slechts \u00e9\u00e9n laag isolerende draadmantel. Dit type draadmantel is over het algemeen bruin of blauw. Als het een aardedraad is, is deze geelgroen.<br>\n<br>\nZoals op de onderstaande foto&#8217;s te zien is, toont dit onderdeel de vaste aansluiting en de toevoeraansluiting voor de plafondventilator. De draden die uit de staaf komen, kunnen doorgaans rechtstreeks worden aangesloten op de vaste bedrading (dat wil zeggen de bedrading bovenaan de kamer of het klemmenblok). Dit deel van de draad is meestal een gewone draad met een laag draadmantel.
